About the Author
Wendy Wyatt is a high school social worker and lives with her family and the real Abby the Labby. She taught art for 10 years in the public schools and is a former assistant professor of design at The College of New Jersey. Wendy received a B.F.A. from Syracuse University, and a M.Ed. from Tyler School of Art, Temple University.
About the Photographers
Carol Max, who has recently passed away, owned a successful photography business specializing in children’s psychological portraiture. She lived with her husband, two daughters, and West Highland white terrier, Savannah. Carol received her M.S.W. from Rutgers University. She is sadly missed.
Gayle Burns, an award winning photojournalist, contributes to national and international publications. She also is a principal photographer for several of Judy Collins’ books and songbook collections. Gayle presently specializes in photographing professional sports and lives at home with her two cats.
